Fortran Plugin for Xcode

2. Description

This Xcode plugin allow you to :

• use syntax highlighting (already provided by Xcode)
• add Fortran source files to this target like you do for a C program
• modify the Fortran compiler settings through the Xcode's build-in build setting GUI.
• mix C and Fortran code in the same program
• minimal support to debug your code from Xcode

However, as it's a beta version, it doesn't support yet :

• dependencies between source files
• better support to debug your code from Xcode
• cross compilation, universal binaries, zerolink
• …

3. Download & Install

Requirement :

• Xcode 3.0 (which itself only runs on Mac OS X 10.5.x).
• gfortran compiler for Tiger installed in /usr/local/bin/ (available here for ppc and here for intel).

Download it and read the README for installation instructions.

To use it, just create a project as for writing a C program, and add fortran source files instead of C source files.
